Your sweet family and your beautiful daughter have truly touched my heart. I know that the holidays were so difficult for you and they were for me also. Jill was always the person who "ran all of the Christmas operations" at our home and I miss that so much. And now that my other daughter, Jennifer, got married in June, she lives 7 hrs. away, and this year, she couldn't be here for Christmas. My husband, who is a District Fire Chief, was on duty Christmas day, so I was alone. This was truly the most difficult Christmas I have endured since Jill died. But what kept me going was knowing that our angels were celebrating Christ's birth with Him. That is truly awesome. But it is so hard on those of us who are left behind to grieve. I thought of your family at Christmas and I had candles lit all over my house for all of our angels. You are a very special family to me and Amanda is a very special angel.
